TrueNAS Setup Guide

Connect Pixette to your TrueNAS or FreeNAS system.

In the TrueNAS web interface, go to Services and enable the WebDAV service. Configure it to use HTTPS for a secure connection.

Go to Sharing → WebDAV Shares and create a new share pointing to your photo directory. Set appropriate permissions.

Configure authentication for the WebDAV share. Create a user with read-only access to your photo files.

Open Pixette on your device and enter the WebDAV URL (https://YOUR_TRUENAS_IP:PORT/path), username, and password.

Browse to your photo folder, select it, then tap 'Index Now'. Your slideshow will begin once indexing completes.
